A Bit About Jim
Jim Morley believes that the stories we tell ourselves—and the meaning we give to the events in our
lives—are often the source of pain and sorrow. However, retelling these stories to a close friend, a
spiritual advisor, or a therapist can be transformative, healing, and empowering.
Jim has witnessed this effect with his own clients, seeing growth and change as he works with couples
and individuals to address a wide range of issues from addiction and depression to stress management and life transitions.
A counselor since 2008, his approach is an integrative one, combining humor, education, and
interventions. It can include Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivation
Interviewing, and Family of Origin Work.

Jim, who earned a master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University, brings an array of life
experiences to his counseling: He has worked and traveled abroad and across the U.S. He enjoys playing music and spending time with his family.
